About
Guernsey’s Premier Artisan Jewellers & Silversmiths - A Living Tradition Since 1887
We’re fifth generation Island jewellers, silversmiths and craftsmen. Since 1887 we’ve crafted a stunning and exclusive range of gold and silver jewellery and traditional Guernsey silverware.
Bruce and Simon Russell are generally acknowledged as Guernsey’s best known craftsmen. As well as fine jewellery and silverware, they’ve undertaken many special commissions, from simple personal items to spectacular pieces for presentation to the British Royal Family, Vatican and many other celebrates.
80% of our jewellery and silverware is made on premises and represents excellent value, particularly as pieces are sold VAT free and can be delivered worldwide.
Our Environmental Commitment
Bruce Russell & Son only use the finest precious metals that are 100% recycled and sourced from sustainable, responsible and integrous refineries. Metals we use are from the world’s precious metal supply chain, reducing our carbon footprint for future generations.
Our Hallmarks Explained
Bruce Russell was the craftsman responsible for introducing a hallmark system to the Channel Islands during 1974. (Prior to this, Channel Islands Craftsmen stamped their initials only on their work). Each piece made in our workshops can be traced back to the individual craftsmen and the year it was crafted and the quality of the silver or gold.
In 1990 Bruce was honoured by being appointed a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmith’s, London.
